Hankins Family

12 posts

Paul W. Hankins lives in Floyds Knobs, Indiana with his wife, Kristie, and their two children, Noah and Maddie. Affectionately referenced to as "Hankins Ranch," the Hankins household is filled with activity (mostly from a devoted dog (Mia) and two cats (Butterfinger and KitKat) committed to chaos. Hankins believes that wonder comes "by way of nature, by nurture, and by nudging" As lead learners within our learning communities we can introduce wonder, keep wonder on the radar, and send our learners into their outside-of-school worlds with wonder on their minds, on their lips, and in their shares... all with a promise that there is always more wonder to find out there in the world. Wonder--if we are "humans doing" vs. "humans being--is our one inexhaustable resource. Paul W. Hankins English 11/AP English Language and Composition at Silver Creek High School.

But we still believe in the power of words themselves. Why else would we pray, sing, or write? Finding phrases to match the emotion inside us still brings an explosive, soaring  joy.”It’s been a while since I’ve posted a Wonder Title to the Educator’s  Sandbox. There have been many titles I have considered posting. And, then. . .yest
