Christmas is less than a week away!!!!!!
Did you know there are past Wonderopolis Wonders that go along with Christmas and/or the Winter Holidays?
- How Do People Celebrate the Winter Holidays?
- Why Do People Kiss Under Mistletoe?
- Who Was St. Nick?
- What’s Your Favorite Holiday Cookie?
- How Did Candy Canes Get Their Shape?
- What Makes Something a Holiday Classic?
- Why Do We Wrap Presents?
One of my new favorites is How Do You Warm Your Tummy in the Winter?
I think this would great conversation starters both in the classroom and at home!
Over the weekend, my little one decorated a Gingerbread House!
In the middle of placing the candy pieces, she looked at me and said, “I wonder if there is something on Wonderopolis about Gingerbread House.”
I think she said that because she now looks for wonders in and about all the things we do!
What is your favorite wonder for this time of year?

That looked soo good to make, tell everyone how you made the Gingerbread house so we could make it some time. Also that looks sooooooooooo good just saying over again.

person loves Gingerbread house
We’re so happy you enjoyed the Edwards Family’s blog post about gingerbread houses! We bet you can do some WONDERing of your own to find out how to build your very own gingerbread house, Wonder Friend!
That looks yummy.
We sure do agree, Mikaela! Thanks for sharing your comment today! Have a stellar day!
